Welcome to the PET Facility

The PET Center, located on the 9th floor, B-wing of Presbyterian University Hospital, at the UPMC Health System has rapidly grown to a world-class resource. We currently operate four tomographs supporting numerous research and clinical applications.

The clinical section provides information that is important if you or someone you know is scheduled to have a PET scan performed.

The research section describes research at our facility that is performed to improve and expand our PET scanning capabilities and applications of these methods to better understand biological and chemical aspects of good health and disease.
